My Opinion about Annihilator Slot
Having extensively played Guns’N’Roses, I naturally gravitated towards Annihilator when it came out. I’ve regularly come back to it when in the mood. Here’s why I like it and how I rate it.
Rocking it on the Stage
Annihilator is a slot with a strong character, like Wanted Dead or a Wild. Guitars, devils, solos, creepy dolls, fire trails, pyrotechnics: all elements of a bombastic metal performance. The best part of the game is the graphics and sound, which depict the theme perfectly.
Entertaining Bonus Features
This online casino game randomly awarded me with expanding wilds, which covered the entire reel. I’ve seen a similar mechanic in Electric Jungle, but here, instead of expanding only on Reel 3, I could get them anywhere on the grid.
I could trigger the unique Fun Palace feature by landing three dolls. I could pick from several dolls, each with a random multiplier. I found this extra layer of the game extremely pleasing, especially the animations and graphics.
Setting the World on Fire
Three scatters (devils) on Reels 1,3, and 5 or a single scatter from within the Fun Palace feature got me to the FS round — the most profitable part of the game, almost as profitable as in Dead or Alive 2. This is mainly because the wilds I landed during it immediately expanded. They remained there, moving from left to right until the end of the round. And I could re-trigger the free spins by landing a single scatter — up to 50.
Alternatives to Annihilator
Annihilator has bonus depth but has some weaknesses, which you can remedy by playing other video slots. You can, for example, enjoy similar features and higher hit frequency at Dork Unit by Hacksaw. Or, you can completely swap pretensions about mechanics and play Jimi Hendrix or EggOMatic (by the same provider) for fun.
