Wedding Gifts in Double Fortune
The main theme of this slot game is an Eastern-style wedding. It is perfectly complemented by bonuses that literally multiply everything appearing twice on the reels—not just by x2, but by up to x8 during the special free spins round.
Wild Symbol. The groom appearing on the reels can substitute for any standard symbol and create a winning combination where there otherwise would not be one. This Wild symbol follows the standard rules of 5x3 online slots. The groom can land on any reel during both the base game and the bonus round. It cannot substitute for the Scatter or the double Wilds depicting the happy couple.
Double Symbol. Any paying symbol, as well as the Wild, can appear as a double image. This is a unique feature of the Double Fortune online slot that is worth testing in demo mode, no registration and no download. When this type of symbol forms part of a combination, it counts as two symbols. As a result, a winning combination may cover only two reels but pay as 3 or even 4 of a kind. A complete payline made up of these symbols awards the highest payout—for 10 of a kind, even though the game has only five reels.
Scatter. The only symbol that never appears as a double is the Scatter, represented by Eastern symbols of love. These icons can land only on the three middle reels. If a player lands three of them at once, the Double Fortune game activates a unique round with eight free spins. Moreover, the Scatter remains on the reels, and every time another one appears, it awards an additional spin during the bonus round.
Free Spins Feature. When the main bonus begins, the player does not simply receive eight free spins—the additional rounds take place on two 5x3 grids simultaneously. Players can form winning combinations with twice the chances of success, and that is not the only bonus available. If winning symbol combinations form on both the upper and lower grids at the same time, the payouts for that spin are multiplied by x8. This gives players a genuine chance to win up to x100,000 by accumulating enormous payouts during the super game.
How to Play Double Fortune
Players can play for fun directly on this page, while real-money play is available at licensed online casinos featured in our rankings. Whichever option you choose, the basic gameplay remains the same, and our experts have described it in detail below.
Set Your Bet and Spin
PG Soft offers a low betting range. Using the corresponding buttons, players can adjust the spin cost from 0.30 to 60 coins. Once you have selected the right amount, simply press the start button to make your first spin.
Form Regular Combinations
Landing at least three matching symbols on any of the 30 paylines guarantees a payout. The more symbols or paylines involved, the larger the prize.
Use Double Symbols
These icons allow you to receive payouts for 3-of-a-kind combinations even when they cover only two reels. They also make it possible to win with six or more symbols on a payline.
Land Double Wilds
These symbols are particularly valuable because they not only complete winning combinations but also increase the payout by counting as two icons.
Land 3 Scatter Symbols
Three of these symbols guarantee eight free spins. If one lands on both reels 2 and 3, reel 4 will continue spinning, increasing the chances of triggering the bonus.
Play on 2 Grids
During the bonus round, winning combinations can form on both the upper and lower reels. If a win lands on both grids, the slot multiplies it by x8.
My Opinion about Double Fortune Slot
Of all the attempts to make the 5x3 grid more interesting, Double Fortune is my favorite. At first, I did not even understand what was happening or why the paytable looked more like a description of a cluster slot or Scattered Pays. Admittedly, I never landed a combination that counted as 10 symbols. However, I did land seven double ring symbols, and the slot paid me x500 my bet on a single payline. You could say that I was unlucky during the free spins round as well, since I never managed to trigger the coveted x8 multiplier. Still, thanks to the two grids, I landed at least some kind of win on almost every spin. I do not think that is too bad for a high-volatility slot.
