Cosmic Features in Galactic Gems
This slot machine completely breaks away from earthly conventions. There are no traditional Scatter or Wild symbols, and all bonuses are based entirely on consecutive wins. This approach makes the game unique and keeps it popular even several years after its release.
Respin. Every time a winning combination lands on the Galactic Gems grid, the slot automatically triggers a Respin. All the reels spin again, giving players a chance to land entirely new combinations within a single round—and potentially do so more than once. This feature activates all the other bonuses, including the slot’s main feature.
Destroying Blockers. Three cosmic stones are positioned in each corner of the grid, blocking a total of 12 positions. Whenever the player lands a winning combination, some of these stones are removed. The more symbols included in the combination, the more stones make way for new symbols and the more ways to win become available during the next Respin.
Bonus Respin Feature. This is the best bonus in the Galactic Gems slot. It is triggered whenever the player removes all the stones from the grid. At this point, the game awards 1 Extra Live and a Multiplier x1, then allows the reels to spin again for another chance to land a new combination. Each win adds x1 to the Multiplier, which applies to all subsequent payouts. Moreover, if the player collects 15 symbols in winning combinations during the winning streak, the slot awards another Extra Life. These lives can be used when a Respin fails, allowing the round to continue in the hope of landing at least a minimum winning combination that extends the streak and further increases the Multiplier.
Autoplay and Turbo. Galactic Gems is one of those slots that is simply entertaining to watch. PG Soft gives players this opportunity by allowing them to activate between 10 and 1,000 spins in Autoplay mode. For those who want the fastest possible results, the provider has also included a Turbo button that speeds up the animation on every spin.
How to Play Galactic Gems
Our readers can play free just for fun directly on this page—the demo mode is available with no registration and no download. Real-money play is only available on casino sites, as it requires an account and a deposit. Regardless of the mode, the gameplay is simple and described in detail below.
Choose Your Bet
The betting range in Galactic Gems is 0.75 to 225 coins. You can adjust the cost per spin on the control panel or by opening the dedicated menu.
Spin the Reels
Simply press the large button in the center of the bottom panel. The adjacent controls allow you to activate Turbo mode or configure Autoplay.
Land Your First Winning Combination
You need at least one matching symbol to land on each of the first three reels. The more matching symbols you land, the higher the payout.
Destroy the Stone Blocks
All you need to do is land winning combinations one after another through consecutive respins.
Expand the Grid
New symbols will land in place of the destroyed blocks, increasing the number of ways to win and helping create new winning combinations.
Trigger the Bonus Respin Feature
During this round, the entire grid with 3,125 ways to win becomes available, along with Multipliers that apply to every payout.
My Opinion about Galactic Gems Slot
Although my win in Galactic Gems was not particularly impressive, I would recommend this game to anyone. Let me be upfront: when I triggered the main feature, I won only 332 coins, which was just x22 my bet—nowhere near the x50,000 maximum. However, the gameplay is definitely worth both your time and money. This is one of those online slots where the experiment of removing Wild and Scatter symbols worked perfectly—the respin mechanic and progressively increasing Multiplier feel much more modern. I literally got hooked on this slot. It must be some kind of cosmic magic.
