Feline Bonuses in Lucky Neko
This slot game stands out not only for its Asian theme and thousands of ways to win. The provider has also included plenty of bonus features, including progressive ones that encourage players to keep betting in pursuit of an avalanche of consecutive wins. All of this makes Lucky Neko one of the must-play online slots.
Cascade. As in other PG Soft slots featuring the multiways mechanic, every winning combination in Lucky Neko is removed from the grid, triggering a cascade of new symbols. This not only provides an opportunity to form additional combinations but also triggers several other features built into the slot. With a successful series of cascading wins, players can land an enormous prize even without triggering the free spins round.
Wilds-on-the-Way. One of the slot’s main bonus symbols is the Wild. It can substitute for any paying symbol, creating winning combinations and increasing payouts by activating more winning ways. The symbol can appear only on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, most commonly after a series of wins involving symbols with colored frames. Symbols occupying two or more rows can land on the grid inside a silver frame. If one of these symbols becomes part of a winning combination, the frame turns gold and the symbol inside is replaced with another one. If this happens again due to a cascade, the symbol turns into a Wild, helping to create more profitable combinations.
Cat Symbol Multiplier. The highest-paying symbol in Lucky Neko does more than award the largest payouts. When it appears on the grid, it applies a Multiplier x2 to all wins during that spin. Two cats mean the prize is multiplied by x4, and so on. The symbol does not even need to be part of a winning combination to activate its bonus.
Free Spins Feature. Lucky Neko features Scatter symbols represented by coins. Once four of these symbols land on the grid, the slot triggers a round of 10 free spins. Each additional symbol awards two more spins, and the round can also be retriggered by landing another four coins during the feature. The best part of the free spins is that all wins in this mode are multiplied by two right from the first spin. Each cat on the grid increases the Multiplier by two, and the new multiplier applies to all subsequent payouts.
How to Play Lucky Neko
You can play free just for fun directly on our website. We have published a demo mode that you can access with no registration and no download. Real-money play is available only at a licensed online casino, and you can choose a suitable option from our rankings. Regardless of the mode, the gameplay works the same way. We have described it in detail below.
Match Identical Symbols
If at least three identical symbols land on three adjacent reels, the game awards a prize and triggers a cascade of new symbols.
Land Cat Symbols
Each cat symbol provides a Multiplier x2, increasing all wins from that spin even during the base game.
Turn Symbols into Wilds
A cascade of wins can turn silver frames into gold ones and gold frames into additional Wild symbols for new combinations.
Collect Scatter Symbols
Landing at least four Scatter symbols guarantees 10 free spins in the bonus round. More symbols award more free spins.
Get the Best Multiplier
Each cat symbol in the bonus round increases the overall Multiplier, which does not reset with each new free spin and can grow to an enormous value by the end of the round.
My Opinion about Lucky Neko Slot
Lucky Neko is the only PG Soft game that has ever been this generous to me. I managed to win 552 coins during the base game alone, which was x46 my bet. I simply got lucky—the cascade of new wins just kept going and continued paying out. But the free spins round exceeded even my wildest expectations. On one incredibly lucky spin, I won 960 coins, or x80 my bet. My total winnings for the entire round came to 2,071 coins, which is more than x1,000. My Multiplier climbed to x34, and I feel that if I had just two or three more spins left, I definitely would have landed the slot’s maximum prize.
