Although ELK Studios positioned this game as a light horror, for me Blood Lust felt more like dark romance in the spirit of Twilight. Even Dracula here looks more like Carlisle Cullen than the scariest vampire of all legends. But I’m not disappointed with the slot overall — the respin helped me fill almost the entire grid with blue-haired vampire girls, and I really did hit the jackpot.
In terms of mood, the slot reminded me of the cult classic Immortal Romance, with its love story and bonus rounds dedicated to each character. And for those who prefer less romance and more horror, I recommend Blood Suckers — the game matches it in bonus variety and graphic quality, but definitely wins in terms of RTP.
