My Opinion
I’m more of a story guy, having an inkling for games like Avalon II, but I do not discount the winning potential of Regal Riches (3,333x). I have played the slot game for fun many times before. Here’s what I think about the game from my experience having played it multiple times in the past.
Best Feature: Collecting Wilds
I enjoyed collecting wilds during the base game. I could do so for the Guaranteed Wilds feature, which could start at any time or for the Major and Mega free spins rounds. The feature kept me entertained. I often collected 10 or more, which all got released at a random position on the grid. The ones that hit the same place gave me multiplied wilds. I could then reset, starting with five more. I thought this was a profitable mechanic, but I wish it also featured expanded wilds like Divine Fortune. That would’ve made things much more interesting.
Feeling Regal During the Free Spins Rounds
I felt like a king during the free spins round because the wilds I had collected previously were absolutely guaranteed. I triggered both options several times. The last time I played it. The Major gave me a minimum of 40 wilds, while the Mega gave me 80+. I won $795 once with a simple $1.50 wager.
Alternatives to Regal Riches
As I mentioned earlier, play Avalon II if you like mediaeval story-driven online games. Avalon II might have a lower RTP (96.01%), but it has an intriguing and profitable Grail bonus feature. Alternatively, pick The Dog House Megaways online casino game to keep the wilds focus in the free spin round, but have it re-triggerable.
